Manchester United wants to lure Arsenal's young talent
Manchester United is actively working in the transfer market this summer. In addition to players who can deliver immediate results, the club is also planning for the future. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Red Devils are attempting to lure talented forward Chidozie Obi-Martin from Arsenal's academy.
United are working hard to sign the player and are eager to finalize the negotiations as soon as possible. Obi-Martin will soon decide his future as he plans to meet with several clubs from the UK and Germany.
Notably, Obi-Martin cannot yet sign a professional contract, as this is only allowed from the age of 17, and he is currently 16. Last season, the young forward scored 32 goals in 18 matches for Arsenal U-18, including seven goals in one match against Norwich. He also scored 10 goals in a match against Liverpool while playing for the U-16 team.
At the U-17 level, Obi-Martin represents Denmark, although he previously played for England in the U-16 category.
