Manchester United continues its search for a top-tier striker capable of competing with Rasmus Højlund and Joshua Zirkzee. The club has identified a new target.

Details: According to Florian Plettenberg, Manchester United is seriously considering the signing of Bayer Leverkusen’s top scorer, Victor Boniface.

Rúben Amorim sees the Nigerian forward as a player who can fulfill a role similar to what Viktor Gyökeres did in his Sporting side.

This season, Boniface has scored six goals in 10 Bundesliga matches. Last season, the Nigerian recorded 14 goals in 23 appearances.

Reminder: In Rúben Amorim’s debut match as Manchester United’s head coach, the team was held to a 1-1 draw against Ipswich.
