Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford is at risk of missing the upcoming Euro 2024 championship.
According to The Athletic, England's national team head coach Gareth Southgate is considering the option of not selecting Rashford for the tournament and giving preference to other forwards.
Southgate is dissatisfied with Rashford's current form and lack of progress over the past few months.
In 35 matches this season across all competitions, Rashford has scored 8 goals and provided 6 assists.
Rashford was included in the squad for England's recent friendly matches against Brazil and Belgium but failed to impress Southgate.
It's worth remembering that in the final of Euro 2020, Rashford was one of the players who missed penalties in the final shootout, leading to England's defeat to Italy.
In Euro 2024, England's national team will compete in the same group as Denmark, Serbia, and Slovenia.
