Manchester United set to extend the contracts of two veterans
Despite the fact that Antony Martial and Raphael Varane have already left Manchester United, the two veterans want to stay at Old Trafford.
According to the official website of the Mancunian club, negotiations are underway with centre-back Jonny Evans and goalkeeper Tom Heaton, while 19-year-old midfielder Omari Forson has already been offered a new deal.
It should be noted that the right to search for a new club was given to left-back Brandon Williams, who once played in the main team of Manchester United, but last season he spent last season on loan at Championship side Ipvsich Town.
Evans is a pupil of the club's academy and was on loan at the team from 2006 to 2015 and returned to Manchester United in the summer of 2023. He played 30 games for Manchester United last season.
Heaton, 38, is also a product of Manchester United's academy but the goalkeeper has only played in three games for the Mancunians between 2004-2010 and 2021.
