Everything will depend on how the season ends.

Details: According to TalkSport, 33-year-old Brazilian defensive midfielder Casemiro could sign a contract extension with Manchester United after his current deal expires.

It is reported that head coach Ruben Amorim is personally interested in continuing the partnership, believing Casemiro’s experience and skill are crucial for the team. Amorim is also reportedly satisfied with the player’s physical condition, which the source describes as ideal despite his age.

The club is ready to offer Casemiro a new contract, but only if he agrees to a pay cut.

Casemiro joined Manchester United in 2022 from Real Madrid for €70 million. This season, the Brazilian has played 10 matches for the club, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist.

His current contract with the Red Devils runs until the summer of 2026.

Reminder: Amorim introduces mandatory autograph rule for fans
