Manchester United return for Everton defender

Manchester United is not the only club interested in signing the star of Everton's defensive line - Liverpool is also interested in the footballer and wants to make a qualitative leap for him.

The player is Jarrad Branthwaite and his contract with United expires in 2027 and Brighton has not made any new proposal to the 22-year-old to renew it, so offers from inside and outside the English league are expected to arrive.

After failing to sign several deals last summer, including that of Spaniard Martin Zubiendi, Liverpool are expected to enter the winter market at the beginning of 2025.
