The Red Devils’ management has informed the Catalan side that they are ready to sign Torres, but this will only be possible if Joshua Zirkzee leaves the club.
Manchester United also categorically refuses to include Torres in any deal involving Rashford.
Earlier reports in the media stated that Zirkzee is extremely dissatisfied with his playing time at United and is actively searching for a new club, as he has no intention of settling for a rotational role.
As for Torres, Barcelona are eager to part ways with him to improve their financial situation and reduce pressure on their wage bill.
This season, Ferran Torres has made 40 appearances for Barcelona, netting 16 goals and providing one assist. His current contract with the Catalan club runs until the summer of 2027, and, according to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at 50 million euros.
