Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek from Manchester United is set to join Eintracht Frankfurt during the winter transfer window, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.

According to the information, the clubs have reached an agreement for a loan deal until the summer of 2024. Eintracht will pay an undisclosed sum for the 26-year-old player on loan and will have the option to buy for €15 million (including bonuses), although this option is not obligatory.

Donny van de Beek was groomed in the Ajax youth academy and made his debut for the team in 2015. In 2020, Manchester United acquired him for €39 million. After spending two seasons with the team, during which he played 50 matches, he was loaned to Everton for six months in 2022. Upon returning from loan, he received minimal game time, playing only ten matches across all competitions last season. In the current season, he has featured in just two matches for the Red Devils, playing a total of 23 minutes. There were previous reports of interest in the midfielder from the Spanish side, Girona.
