Manchester United hostes Liverpool at Old Trafford in the 32nd matchday of the English Premier League.

Erik ten Hag's team failed to produce a single shot towards their opponent's goal in the first 45 minutes of the game. The shot statistics at halftime were telling: 14-0 in favor of the visitors from Merseyside.

Manchester United did not register a single shot in the first half of a Premier League match for the first time since April 2022. Interestingly, the opponent on that occasion was also Liverpool.

This was the first time such an occurrence happened at Old Trafford since October 2015, when the Red Devils failed to record a shot on target against Manchester City in the first half.

One of Jurgen Klopp's team's shots found its mark: Luis Diaz opened the scoring in the 23rd minute. The teams went into halftime with Liverpool holding a narrow lead.
