The Red Devils are preparing a schoolboy scholarship for the young forward, which he will be eligible to sign officially after he turns 16 in October. At the same time, they are aiming to agree on a preliminary professional contract straight away.

Manchester United realize that a scholarship alone won’t shield them from rival approaches until the player turns 17 in 2027.
