Manchester United have added another name to their shortlist as they continue searching for a new left-back.

Details: According to insider Ekrem Konur, Manchester United have carried out initial checks on Bournemouth defender Adrien Truffert and made tentative enquiries regarding a possible move for the 24-year-old Frenchman.

At this stage, United's interest has not developed into formal negotiations or an official bid. The Manchester club are assessing their options on the left side of defence before deciding whether to take the next step.

Bournemouth, however, have no intention of making the operation easy. The Cherries have a strong desire to keep Truffert and are reluctant to lose one of their important defenders late in the transfer window.

Truffert joined Bournemouth from Rennes and quickly established himself in English football. His performances have now attracted attention from Manchester United, who have been exploring several candidates for the left-back position.

It's worth noting that Truffert recorded one goal and five assists in the Premier League last season, helping Bournemouth finish sixth and secure European football.
