Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay is reportedly ready to join Napoli
Napoli is looking to strengthen its squad ahead of the new Serie A season, and Antonio Conte has set his sights on Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay.
According to insider Nicolò Schira, the Scottish player is open to moving to Italy and playing for Napoli. The Neapolitan club has proposed a loan deal with an option to buy, but Manchester United prefers an immediate sale for €30 million or a loan with an obligatory purchase clause.
McTominay's current agreement with Manchester United runs until the summer of 2025.
Napoli are also eyeing a fellow Scotsman, but already from Brighton. A deal for Seagulls player Billy Gilmour is being considered, and he could be signed for a fee in the region of €10 million.
By the way, Napoli's Director, Giovanni Manna, is currently in London to address transfer matters involving Chelsea.
