Manchester United legend has been offered a position in Ten Hag's coaching staff

Former Manchester United player Ruud van Nistelrooy has been offered a position in the revamped coaching staff of the "Red Devils," reports insider Fabrizio Romano.
Van Nistelrooy is also a top candidate for the new manager role at Burnley, replacing Vincent Kompany, as previously reported. The Dutch football legend is expected to make a decision about his future next week.
It was noted that Burnley is seeking a young, ambitious coach with fresh ideas to help the club return to the Premier League, and they see Van Nistelrooy as the ideal fit.
In the 2022/23 season, Van Nistelrooy successfully coached PSV, winning the KNVB Cup, but he was dismissed due to internal conflicts within the club.
It’s worth noting that Manchester United has decided to continue working with Erik ten Hag as the head coach and has offered him a new contract. Ten Hag, however, has set three conditions for agreeing to the new deal.
