Manchester United legend admits ten Hag could leave soon

Manchester United have had a poor start to the 2024/2025 season. A lost Community Shield, a crushing 0-3 defeat to Liverpool. The disappointing results again fuelled rumours of Erik ten Hag's resignation, which have only just subsided.
Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville is also unsure whether the Dutchman will make it to the end of the season, but the latter attributes ten Hag's likely resignation to one factor:
‘Within three or four months, the Manchester United management made the decision to keep ten Hag. They will give him four or five months. What they can't allow is to be mid-table before Christmas, but they will give him a few months, there's no doubt about that,’ Neville told Sky Sports.
Things are really starting to heat up at Old Trafford, as after the defeat to Liverpool, ten Hag argued with reporters at a press conference.
