Manchester United is set to extend the contract of right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka until the summer of 2025, as reported by Mail Sport.

The Red Devils have decided to exercise an option in the agreement, enabling the club to extend the contract with the player for an additional season.

Wan-Bissaka's current five-year contract is set to expire next summer. Previously, it was reported that Manchester United would continue their collaboration with Victor Lindelöf using a similar approach.

The 26-year-old Wan-Bissaka, a product of Crystal Palace's youth system, joined United in 2019 for a fee of 55 million euros.

In the current season, the defender has featured in 15 matches for the Red Devils across all competitions, contributing with two assists.

Manchester United is enduring a challenging season, currently occupying the eighth position in the Premier League after 20 rounds. On January 8th, Erik ten Hag's side will face Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup.
