Manchester United is interested in Sevilla striker
Manchester United is considering the acquisition of Sevilla's forward Youssef En-Nesyri amid their disappointing start to the season. The English club is reportedly willing to pay £16 million for the player, as reported by The Sun.
Facing a challenging season with seven losses in their first 17 Premier League matches, injuries, and unsuccessful acquisitions, United is eager to make significant moves in the transfer market to revitalize their situation. Their Danish frontman Hojbjerg has yet to score in the top tier of English football, while Marcus Rashford's declining performance has compounded Erik ten Hag's problems.
Previously linked with a Bundesliga sensation, Serru Girasi, Manchester United is now believed to see the striker favoring a move to league rivals Tottenham. The Red Devils' scouts have been directed to observe En-Nesyri's gameplay and will also attend the upcoming La Liga match against Atletico Madrid.
Youssef En-Nesyri has been one of the few shining stars for Sevilla this season, netting eight goals and providing four assists. Despite the excellent performance of the Moroccan forward, the Andalusian team currently sits at the 15th position in La Liga.
