Manchester United has made a decision regarding the purchase option for on-loan midfielder Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina.
According to Fabrizio Romano, United has informed Fiorentina that they will not activate the option to buy the player for €20 million.
It is noted that United is still interested in Amrabat and is willing to discuss other terms for the transfer, as Erik ten Hag values the player. There is also interest in Amrabat from other unnamed clubs.
The 27-year-old spent the last season at Manchester United on loan. The Dutch defensive midfielder made 30 appearances for United in all competitions without contributing any goals or assists. His contract with Fiorentina expires in a year.
