Manchester United has lost two defenders, at least until the end of April.

According to the club's press service, Victor Lindelof has been diagnosed with a knee tendon injury. The Argentine center-back Lisandro Martínez suffered a calf muscle strain during training.

Recall that Lindelof sustained his injury in a recent Premier League match against Brentford, which forced him to leave the field prematurely. The Swedish international has played 27 matches in all competitions, scoring 1 goal.

Martinez missed a significant part of the season due to a knee injury, and only recently returned to action in March. The 26-year-old Argentine has appeared in 11 matches for the Red Devils this season.

United has nine matches left to play this season, starting with Chelsea on Thursday, as well as the FA Cup semi-final against Coventry City. Erik ten Hag's team currently occupies sixth place in the Premier League table.
