Manchester United enter the race for Malick Fofana

The list of suitors for Lyon's young prodigy keeps on growing.

Details: According to the British transfer portal Jesse, Manchester United have joined the race for Lyon’s 20-year-old Belgian talent Malick Fofana.

It is reported that Fofana is not currently United's top target in the transfer market, but Ruben Amorim is keeping a close eye on the player and would not mind seeing him in his squad.

Fofana’s contract with Lyon runs until 2028, but there is a strong possibility that this season could be his last in Lyon.

Earlier reports indicated that a host of top European clubs—Chelsea, Liverpool, Barcelona, Bayern, and Everton—are monitoring Fofana.

This season, Fofana has made 12 appearances for Lyon across all competitions, scoring 2 goals and providing 1 assist.

His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at 30 million euros.
