Manchester United defender Leny Yoro has announced that he is nearing a return to action following an injury sustained during preseason.
Quote: “Every time I come to the stadium to watch matches, I just want to be out on the pitch. My return and debut are getting closer. I want to be on the field with the guys, fighting for Manchester United,” the defender told Fabrizio Romano.
To recap: The 18-year-old Yoro joined Manchester United from Lille during the summer transfer window for €62 million.
The promising young talent has yet to make his debut for the “Red Devils” after suffering a foot injury in a preseason match against Arsenal in July. In August, the Frenchman underwent successful surgery.
