Manchester United coach talks about working with the new team owner
The manager of Manchester United, Erik ten Hag, shared insights about working with the club's new owner. It's worth noting that a quarter of Manchester United's shares were acquired by the British businessman and CEO of INEOS, Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
"My schedule has been so tight that I haven't had the opportunity to converse with them, but that will happen. I'm eagerly anticipating it. They wish to collaborate with me, and I reciprocate; we'll engage in discussions, hold meetings. Let's see.
I believe everything will be fine, very positively inclined.
We always aim to win, regardless of who's leading. We need a winning culture, irrespective of who propels us forward or who owns the club. However, undoubtedly, owners can inspire us."
Currently, the "Red Devils" are positioned seventh in the Premier League, trailing the leader by eleven points and five points behind the European qualification zone. In the Champions League, United occupies the bottom spot in the group and won't be participating in any European club tournaments in the spring. Their next match is against Nottingham Forest today.
