Manchester United are determined to make a high-profile transfer in the summer transfer window and for the sake of this at Old Trafford are ready to shell out a tidy sum, which is just short of the title of the most expensive transfer in history.

According to Le10sport, Manchester United have set their sights on Real Madrid striker Vinícius Júnior and are preparing an offer of around 200 million euros.

However, the offer has so far left Florentino Perez and company indifferent, who, despite Kylian Mbappé's impending move from PSG, still consider the 23-year-old Brazilian to be one of their team's fundamental players.

Vinicius has played 23 games for Real Madrid this season, scoring 12 goals and assisting seven times. Transfermarkt estimates the 23-year-old Brazilian at 150 million euros, and his contract with the royal club is valid until the summer of 2027.
