Manchester United are interested in a Lens midfielder
The player is under contract with the French club until 2030
The Red Devils are keeping an eye on Mamadou Sangare.
The Malian midfielder could leave Lens just one season after joining. Having scored three goals and provided four assists by the end of the 2025–2026 season in France’s Ligue 1, Mamadou Sangare has attracted interest from several clubs.
Winner of the Marc Vivien Foe Award this season, the 23-year-old central midfielder has caught the eye of Manchester United. The Red Devils are reportedly interested in signing the Malian this summer. Manchester United’s management were preparing an offer to Lens for Sangare.
The Malian is valued at €40 million by Transfermarkt. He is under contract at Lens until 2030. However, a compelling offer could prompt Mamadou Sangare’s departure.
