Reports indicate that City are well aware of Bayern Munich’s interest in Foden, with suggestions that the Bavarians may have already made initial contact with the player’s representatives. The English side is looking to play it safe and convince Foden to sign a new deal.
Foden himself is open to staying in Manchester but is demanding improved terms compared to his current contract. According to sources, the City hierarchy is likely to meet his demands to ensure he remains at the club.
Phil Foden is a Manchester City academy graduate, having been promoted to the first team in 2017 from the Citizens’ youth ranks.
This season, Foden has featured in 41 matches for City, scoring 10 goals and providing 5 assists. His current contract runs until the summer of 2027, and his market value is estimated at €80 million by Transfermarkt.
