Details: According to Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher, despite Manchester City's recent successes, the club will never reach the same level of greatness and influence as Manchester United.
"Manchester City will never be bigger than Manchester United. And the rivalry between Liverpool and Manchester City will never mean more than a Liverpool vs Manchester United clash. It simply won't happen and it can't happen," Carragher stated.
The former defender insisted that Liverpool and Manchester United will forever remain the leading clubs in English football.
"Historically, these two clubs have always been and always will be the biggest in the country. I don't think that will ever change," Carragher concluded.
