The intrigue is heating up around the future of one of Manchester City's brightest stars.
Details: After the official announcement that Bernardo Silva will leave the Citizens at the end of the current season, his agent Jorge Mendes has been actively searching for a new club for his client. According to AS, the Portuguese midfielder has been offered to Real Madrid, but the "royal club" has yet to show any real interest.
Despite Bernardo Silva's tremendous footballing reputation and his vast experience facing Los Blancos in the Champions League, Real Madrid's management currently isn't considering this transfer. While Madrid appreciates the skill of the 31-year-old, his profile does not fit into their current squad-building plans for the 2026/27 season.
At the same time, the Portuguese international's name remains on Barcelona's radar, where he was previously offered, but the situation there is also far from clear.
The veteran remains in superb physical condition, having played 46 matches this season, scoring 3 goals and providing 5 assists.
Recall: Inter will complete the signing of Manchester City centre-back Manuel Akanji.
