Details: According to DiarioAS, 24-year-old Croatian center-back Joško Gvardiol has put contract renewal talks with Manchester City on hold after learning of Real Madrid’s interest.

Reports suggest that incoming Real Madrid head coach José Mourinho has listed Gvardiol among his top transfer priorities for the summer window, capturing the Croatian’s attention and prompting him to pause negotiations with the Citizens.
This season, Gvardiol has made 25 appearances for Manchester City, netting 2 goals. His current contract runs until 2028, and his market value is estimated at €70 million by Transfermarkt.
