Manchester City prepared to spend big on Ronald Araújo

Barcelona defender Ronald Araújo has caught the attention of several top European clubs, with Manchester City reportedly among the suitors for the Uruguayan.

Details: According to El Nacional, the "Citizens" are seriously interested in acquiring the center-back from Barcelona. It is claimed that City is willing to pay €70 million for the Uruguayan defender.

The Manchester club believes that Araújo's addition could bring much-needed stability to their defense.

Reminder: Araújo has only recently returned to Barcelona's full training squad after recovering from a severe injury.

The defender had been sidelined until December due to a hamstring issue sustained while representing Uruguay at the Copa América. He has yet to make an appearance for Barcelona this season.
