Manchester City midfielder goes mad at the idea of playing for Barcelona

Manchester City's attacking midfielder Bernardo Silva believes that his time at the club has come to an end. The Portuguese player is planning to leave Manchester City next summer.

As reported by journalist Ferran Correas from Radio Ctalunya, Bernardo is excited about the idea of joining Barcelona. The Catalan club has been interested in Bernardo for a while and is keen on signing him.

In the summer, Silva's contract includes a release clause of 58 million euros. However, due to financial constraints, Barcelona hopes to negotiate with Manchester City to lower the price.

It is not ruled out that Bernardo may move to Barcelona in the summer on loan with an option to buy, similar to what happened last summer with João Cancelo.

Bernardo Silva joined Manchester City from Monaco in the summer of 2017. In the current season, he has scored 11 goals and provided 5 assists in 42 matches across all competitions.
