According to a source, Manchester City are interested in his services and plan to sign the midfielder in the summer transfer window.
Portuguese defender Joao Cancelo, who plays for Bayern on loan, could also be included in the deal.
Kimmich played 32 matches in the current Bundesliga season, scoring five goals and providing six assists.
