Manchester City and Chelsea are set to compete for Bayern Munich's star player this summer

Talented Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala has attracted the attention of several top clubs with his performances.

According to The Guardian, Manchester City have identified the German winger as one of their main transfer targets for the summer. Pep Guardiola is keen to bolster his attacking options, and Musiala is his preferred choice.

Chelsea is among the competitors for Manchester City in pursuit of Musiala. It is noted that Chelsea is also closely monitoring the player's development and the situation surrounding his potential transfer.

However, Bayern's management is not eager to part ways with one of their key players. The club's sporting director previously stated that selling Musiala is not even being considered, and he is expected to become a central figure for Bayern in the future.

At just 21 years old, the Stuttgart-born player has already played over 100 matches in the Bundesliga and has appeared in 27 matches for the German national team.

In the current season, the talented midfielder has scored 12 goals and provided 7 assists in 36 matches across all competitions. Transfermarkt values the player at €110 million, and his contract with Bayern Munich runs until 2026.
