Manchester City academy graduate has become Chelsea's first signing in the Maresca era

Chelsea has finalized their first signing of the summer transfer window.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the London club has agreed to sign Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo. He will join Chelsea as a free agent.

The player has already passed his medical examination and subsequently signed a four-year contract.

The 26-year-old center-back, a product of Manchester City's academy, has been playing for Fulham since the summer of 2021. He previously had loan spells at Blackburn and West Bromwich Albion.

In the recently concluded Premier League season, Adarabioyo played 20 matches and scored 2 goals.

Next season, Chelsea will be managed by Enzo Maresca, replacing Mauricio Pochettino.
