Manchester United could be without several key players for their game against Liverpool due to injury, illness and disciplinary issues, the Liverpool Echo reports.
Marcus Rashford is a doubt, according to manager Ruben Amorim: “He’s ill and I think he’ll be out this week. He’s not training, so we’ll see.”
Amorim also confirmed that Mason Mount, Luke Shaw and Victor Lindelof will be out against Liverpool, all of whom are still recovering from injuries.
United will also be without Jonny Evans, although the reasons for his absence have not been specified. Youngster Godwill Cuconchi will be named on the bench in his place. However, the manager did provide some good news regarding Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte.
"Fernandes will be available for the Liverpool game after serving his suspension," Amorim said.
Recall that Fernandes received his second red card of the season in the match against Wolverhampton, but his suspension was limited to one match. Ugarte returned after missing the game against Newcastle for his fifth yellow card in the Premier League.
