Man United talent explains why he deactivated his social media pages

The young winger for Manchester United has explained why he removed all mentions of the club from his social media and deactivated them.

According to the Ivorian forward, he did this not because he wants to leave the club but due to the arrival of the sacred month of Ramadan in Islam.

"I deactivated my social media for a month just to focus on Ramadan. It's a holy month for me and social media is a place where there are bad things to see during fasting. Stop the hatred, there's nothing wrong with what I did".

The 21-year-old attacker missed the start of the current season due to a knee injury and has participated in only three matches since his return.

In the previous season, Diallo had a successful loan spell with Sunderland in the Championship, scoring 13 goals and providing 3 assists in 37 matches.

For the Ivory Coast national team, Diallo has played in 4 matches and scored 1 goal.
