Man United star Amad Diallo’s reaction to missing out on Player of the Month award goes viral
Manchester United’s Amad Diallo had a humorous response after the club’s Player of the Month award was given to someone else.
The winger reacted to the official club post on X by sharing a GIF, which quickly went viral, earning around 50,000 likes from fans. Supporters praised the player's witty and creative sense of humor.
Diallo had a strong case for the award, scoring two goals and providing one assist in November. However, the accolade was awarded to Noussair Mazraoui, who played all four of United’s matches that month.
Mazraoui has recently been at the center of controversy after refusing to wear the club's specially designed jacket supporting the LGBTQ+ community, citing his religious beliefs.
This topic remains highly sensitive and has sparked several debates recently. Ipswich captain Sam Morsy declined to wear a rainbow captain’s armband for similar religious reasons. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace captain Marc Guéhi faced criticism for writing "I love Jesus" on his armband, which violated Premier League regulations.
