Man United Scouts Watch Senegalese Sensation Assane Diao

Manchester United have set their sights on Senegalese forward Assane Diao, who is expected to leave Como in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Man United Scouts in Action

According to Italian journalist Nicolò Schira, United’s scouts closely monitored Diao during Como’s Serie A clash with Empoli in the 30th round. The club is reportedly ready to invest heavily in the young talent, who recently rejected Spain to represent Senegal’s Lions.

Potential Battle with Amad Diallo

If the transfer goes through, Diao will face competition from Ivorian winger Amad Diallo for a spot on the right flank. Both players give United's team depth because they can play a variety of attacking roles.

Diao's Outstanding Campaign

With seven goals and three assists in 31 games for Real Betis and Como, the Senegalese youth is among the most promising young players in Europe.
