Man United and Liverpool to battle it out for young French defender

Manchester United and Liverpool have long been rivals on the pitch, but now these clubs will compete with each other in the battle for talent from the French Championship.

According to L`Equpie, the giants of English football are showing interest in 22-year-old Rennes defender Adrien Truffer. Apart from them, Nottingham Forest and Wolverhampton are following the silver medallist of the Olympic Games in Paris, but they have a serious competitor in view of PSG.

It is not yet known on what terms Rennes are ready to say goodbye to their star left-back, and whether they are ready to do it at all.

Recall that in the summer transfer window, Manchester United has already made a star transfer from the French championship, winning the fight with Real Madrid for Lille defender Leny Yoro. PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte is also being watched at Old Trafford.
