Man City and Al Nassr can't agree on transfer fee for Brazilian goalkeeper
Manchester City’s main goalkeeper, Ederson, is still likely to leave the club this summer, though negotiations with Al Nassr are not progressing as smoothly as the Saudi club would like.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Al Nassr has already agreed on contract terms with Ederson but has yet to reach an agreement with Manchester City on the transfer fee. Al Nassr has offered €30 million, while the English champions are demanding €50 million. However, talks are ongoing, and the clubs are working on a transfer formula that would satisfy both parties.
It is expected that if Ederson leaves, Manchester City will not sign a new primary goalkeeper but will instead rely on Stefan Ortega. Ortega performed exceptionally well at the end of the previous season when Ederson was injured.
During his 7 years at Manchester City, Ederson has played 332 matches and won 6 Premier League titles.
