Man broke into LeBron James’ mansion and shocked police by claiming to be the NBA star’s son
An unusual incident occurred at LeBron James’ mansion in Brentwood, a Los Angeles suburb. On Friday, police arrested a man who illegally entered the basketball player’s property and claimed that he believed he was James’ son. Marca reports.
The events unfolded after 9:30 p.m. Security staff spotted a suspicious individual on surveillance cameras and contacted law enforcement. Following an investigation, the man was arrested on suspicion of stalking. However, according to the source, he did not enter the house and was found only on the property itself. During his interaction with police, the suspect stunned them by claiming that he believed he was the NBA star’s son.
James himself was not at the mansion at the time of the incident. The basketball player was in Ohio, where he faced his former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers. LeBron’s current club, the Philadelphia 76ers, suffered a heavy 95-119 defeat. As a result, the evening proved unsuccessful for James both on and off the court.
