Details: According to South African journalist Sahil Ebrhim, scouts from Turkish side Trabzonspor have set their sights on Mamelodi Sundowns’ Lucas Ribeiro.
The reason for such close attention to Ribeiro is his impressive showing at the Club World Cup, where he made three appearances, scored a goal against Borussia Dortmund, and provided an assist in the victory over Ulsan HD.
Ribeiro joined Sundowns last season from Belgian club SK Beveren and has since become one of the team's key players, featuring in 52 matches with 21 goals and 14 assists to his name.
The player's market value is estimated at €2.5 million by Transfermarkt.
