Mamelodi Sundowns Sign Defender Keanu Cupido from Cape Town City

Mamelodi Sundowns have announced the signing of defender Keanu Cupido from Cape Town City. The 27-year-old joins the club following 7 seasons with the Citizens.

Cupido appeared in 143 game for City, scoring once and assisting 3 times. He has represented AC Ajaccio B in France and Bidvest Wits.

Sundowns announced Cupido on social media, welcoming him on long term contract. The defender was ecstatic, calling it the "proudest moment" of his career.

After Lucas Suárez, he’s Sundowns second defensive addition of the season. The team gained even more strength with the addition of Jayden Adams from Stellenbosch.

The Cupido replaces Rushine De Reuck, who has joined Maccabi Petah Tikva on loan. Sundowns continue to bolster their team as they strive for greater success this season.
