With Mamelodi Sundowns carrying South Africa's hopes as they prepare for a second appearance on the international scene, Africa will be proudly represented by four clubs at the next FIFA Club World Cup 2025.
Group F Challenge: Giants Await Sundowns
The 2016 CAF Champions League winners have been drawn into a tough Group F, featuring:
- Fluminense (Brazil)
- Borussia Dortmund (Germany)
- Ulsan HD (South Korea)
Sundowns will need to be at their very best as they take on world-class opposition in the U.S.-based tournament.
Group Stage Fixtures:
- June 16: vs Ulsan HD at Inter&Co Stadium, Orlando, Florida
- June 21: vs Borussia Dortmund at TQL Stadium, Cincinnati, Ohio
- June 25: vs Fluminense at Hard Rock Stadium, Miami, Florida
Led by captain Ronwen Williams and a squad packed with talent, Sundowns will aim to make history and fly the African flag high. Their journey begins in Orlando with millions watching.
