Mame Thiam has etched his name into Senegalese football history in Turkey. With his goal in Eyüpspor’s 6-0 demolition of Demirspor during Matchday 31 of the Turkish Süper Lig, Thiam reached a landmark 68 career goals in the league.

This goal lifts the 32-year-old striker past Fenerbahçe legend Moussa Sow, who previously held the second spot among Senegal’s top scorers in Turkey with 67 goals.
