Mali's Isiaka Soukouna Attracts Interest from Top European Clubs

Rising Malian star Isiaka Soukouna has caught the attention of several European and French clubs, according to Africa Foot.

The 17-year-old defender, who currently plays for Stade Rennes, is under contract until June 30, 2026 but could soon agree to an extension.

The French club has already opened serious negotiations with his representatives, aiming to secure his future before he turns 18. Talks are reportedly progressing positively with the player's camp.

Soukouna is regarded as one of the most promising young defenders in Europe, and Rennes are eager to fend off growing interest from abroad.

The talented Malian joined Rennes in 2019 at age 13, and made his debut last season with the U19 team, where he scored once in six matches.
