Malick Mbaye joins the Belgian first division
The 21-year-old Senegalese winger has officially signed with Zulte Waregem.
He arrived in Belgium from FC Metz in the French league. Malick Mbaye has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with the Belgian first division club, with an option for an additional year. His signing has been made official by Zulte Waregem.
‘Malick Mbaye (21) is the latest recruit to Elindus Arena. The winger arrives from Ligue 1 club FC Metz and has signed a 3.5-year contract (+ one-year option) with Essevee.’
Upon signing, the 21-year-old Senegalese player did not hide his enthusiasm. ‘I didn't hesitate for long when Essevee called. The Belgian league is highly respected and Zulte Waregem has a clear development plan. The club is no stranger to Senegal, as players like Diop and Leye have already made a name for themselves here,’ said Malick Mbaye.
