Mali will play a friendly match against Russia

The match will be played during the international break next March.

Like other national teams, Mali's national team will be playing during the next FIFA window. The Eagles of Mali will travel to Russia to face the Russian team. This international friendly match will be played on Tuesday, 31 March 2026, at the Gazprom Arena in Saint Petersburg at 5 pm GMT.

This friendly match will allow Tom Saintfiet and his players to regroup after their elimination in the quarter-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. It is also an opportunity for the Eagles to readjust their tactics ahead of upcoming continental competitions.
