The Confederation of African Football has officially approved the joint bid from the three countries.

In an official statement on Tuesday 21 July, the Niger Football Federation announced that CAF had confirmed the approval of the expression of interest submitted jointly by the three countries to host the 2032 Africa Cup of Nations. The approval of this expression of interest marks a first step for the three federations involved.
