The Malian Eagles could not do any better at the Gazprom Arena in Saint Petersburg.

It was a match that remained tense right until the end. The two teams fought a fierce battle throughout the game. But despite attempts from both sides, neither team managed to find the back of the net.

Mamadou Samassa, the Malian goalkeeper, put in a superb performance with eight decisive saves. At the end of this international friendly, which ended in a goalless draw, 0-0, Gaoussou Diakité was named man of the match.
