Malawi to Host First Annual Football Awards on February 21, 2025

The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) will hold its first-ever Annual Football Awards on February 21, 2025, at Sunbird Mount Soche in Blantyre.
The event will celebrate exceptional performances by Malawian football players, coaches, and referees across both men’s and women’s competitions in 2024.
The awards will be divided into three categories: Castel Cup Awards, FDH Bank Cup Awards, and Overall Awards. In the overall segment, men will compete for Young Player of the Year, Footballer of the Year, Best Coach, and Best XI, while women will have awards for Women’s Footballer of the Year, Best Women’s Coach, and Best Women’s XI.
Nominees will be announced between February 5-7, with voting from February 10-14. Voting will involve technical members, journalists, and fans.
