Major shake-up: Barcelona ready to sell as many as nine players this summer
During the summer transfer window, Barcelona will be forced to make several tough decisions regarding the future of their squad. Some players will have to say goodbye to free up space for new signings. And the list of such footballers has already been drawn up.
Details: As revealed by Diario Sport, the list includes the following players: Iñaki Peña, Ronald Araújo, Héctor Fort, Fermín López, Gavi, Frenkie de Jong (if he refuses to extend his contract), Pablo Torre, Pau Víctor, and Ansu Fati.
They won't all be placed on the transfer market at once, but the club is open to listening to offers for them. Realistically, almost no one is guaranteed to stay this summer apart from Lamine Yamal, who remains untouchable in the market.
The club wants to be pragmatic: any player who attracts strong offers and is not considered essential to Hansi Flick's tactical vision could well be sold.
Reminder: Earlier, the German coach himself made a decision about his own future with the Catalan club.
